With the first step. Walk up to an attractive girl, make small talk, tell her you should go for coffee/drinks sometime. You'll get a number sometimes, sometimes you won't. The more you do it, the better you'll get at it.
Don't go in with any expectation. Just do it. It's all a numbers game, anyway.

I am not a fan of direct approach. I find that the return on investment is very low and it requires a lot of good looks and social calibration to pull it off effectively. I am not willing to spend time sarging in the streets or hitting clubs for the off chance that I'll get some digits.
What I'm looking for is a strategy to build my social circle in a new town and meet girls that way.

He's not saying to do that. Statistically speaking, at some point each day you will be standing near a girl. Requiring almost no effort you say hi, comment on something around you, ask if you can take her out sometime.

Then you're looking for an easy way out. You'll have to look elsewhere.

Check out the RSD free tour stuff on YouTube. There are lots of different instructors with different styles, check them all out and see what fits you best. A lot of their old stuff is straight pua/game. A lot of their new stuff is more like internalizing game and inner game.

-2016. -Still believing in game. Lolololololol. Just be attractive enough to receive IOI's then act on them and natrually feel out the situation. If you can't do that then its time to consider the possibility of aspergers or a personality disorder.
