Both are at fault.

For example you are in am LTR with a hot chick and you go full beta. Your girlfriend then cheats on you. Your girlfriend is obviously at fault because she cheated - she committed the act. At the same time you are also at fault for creating the necessary conditions. Not to the same extent, but you can't be surprised your girlfriend didn't remain faithful.

You going beta is the equivalent of your gf gaining 50kg. You wouldn't stick around for that either.

To put it another way: You leave your car unlocked in a bad part of town and someone hacks it. Obviously the robber is the person responsible and the law would find him so. But you are also to blame for allowing the robbery to occur by being stupid.

I find "fault" and "blame" to be words that are often use oddly, wrongly, or without definition.

Do you mean "what set of things caused this?" or "whom is most morally culpable?"

We humans are obsessed with "fault" and not nearly enough about "cause".

The set of causes for cheating by a woman are: genetics (hypergamy, etc), their upbringing and cultural influences, how the woman's significant other behaved and his SMV and also the same factors for the guy she cheats with.

The amount of "credit" due each factor is case by case.

Because it is the starting point of our biology and because cheating has always occurred and occurs in our closest biological relatives (apes, etc) and so many women cheat now that the consequences are less....I believe that monogamy is unnatural over longer periods of time and that women cheat primarily because they have an urge to have sex with more than one person.

If you allow yourself to be cucked, its totally your fault. Your best option in any situation is to leave. If you fail to exercise that option you have lost all of your power.

Cheaters will cheat no matter what.
