A very common advice I hear is lifting weights to build a better body, but does this actually make any difference? I mean don't get me wrong I totally agree that a good diet and perhaps some limited exercise is a must if you aren't suppose to look terrible. But is there any actual truth to the idea that lifting weights will actually make any difference to how women see you?

The reason I ask is that on the bodybuilding.com forums I can see lots of guys with amazing bodies complain about how women don't care about them, and almost every single time they are either short or don't have impressive faces. Doesn't this basically just confirm that looks are all about height+face and that merely not being fat is all that matters?

Not saying lifting weights is bad if you enjoy it, but does it make any difference at all if your goal is attracting women? Can you give me ANY examples of somebody that was merely of normal height with a normal face, who was ignored by women before they started lifting but suddenly got more attention afterward? And fat people who stopped being fat don't count.
