I [19] Dated a girl [19] for 6 months, and she just entered her first year at university (2 hours away). I had absorbed a lot of TRP so I know the propensity of women.

Last week she texts me that I'm too far away and tries to beat around the bush that she wants to break up. I ask her straight up if she wants to, to which she responds "yes". I then reply "great! Delete my number" and proceed to block her on all social media. (Had a bunch she wanted to date around) She texts me "wow". Nothing else, radio silence since then.

Today, my friend shows me a Snapchat of her and some boy. I told my friend to not instigate anything, yet he replied to the Snapchat, "wow you both moved on quick" to which she replied "okay? 😂"I don't know why but my immediate reaction was genuinely apathetic.

However several hours later I was home and thought about the whole situation and it just made me angry, I punched a hole in my wall. I'm not sure why. Any insight/ways to overcome?
