Alcohol & lack of exercise, and as a result - slower metabolism.

Coupled with the fact that there are thirsty dudes everywhere that validate them by telling them they're still beautiful.
Why would they bother getting in shape.

Lmao exactly.
And the weight gain is very small and steady over a few years so they dont even notice these changes until someone points it out or they dont fit into their normal clothes anymore.

Because they are entitled and they think they are entitled to a good man no matter what they bring to the table.

I’m pretty sure they talk about it in the sidebar. Women roll into their 20s looking good without having to work out, eat healthy, etc. For a man, if you do not work out, eat healthy, etc. you will either become fat (if you are naturally fat) or skinny fat (if you are naturally skinny). So, we learn early on to work hard in life. Whereas women naturally have it so good in their 20s that they can literally just rely on genetics to get them by, that is until, of course, they hit the wall. At which point many women will begin to live healthier lifestyles.

It’s simple:
The wall. Who knew a decade full of partying, binging, eating and drinking like shit has effects.
Complacency if they have secured their commitment.
This is the biggest enemy for all parties: men, women, RP men, BP men etc,
Or both 1 and 2.

Because what's important is what is inside and they want to be loved for who they really are? /s
Also because it requires efforts and discipline to remain slim and most of them can't afford that.

In my city in the States, the stray cats are fat. When I'm in Asia, the stray cats are skinny.
It is literally the food that society makes available to its population. Both the amount and the composition.
Lot of anti science fucks wanna talk about self control, but the entire environment is working against the population to the point that stray animals get fat.

That’s why everyone should be cooking their own meals.

hormones. espeically estrogen dominance and sluggish thyroids. add that most women are cortisol dominant because of the stress in their lives then anything they eat after a certain age goes to fat.

Most normal guys bloatmax by their 30's too. This is a society-wide epidemic. It's just easier for young women to get away with letting themselves go without suffering complete inceldom.

Sugar and starches like bread are similar to cocaine in addiction to some people. It is super easy to end up partying, getting drunk, and eating a fuck ton of shit at 2am... rinse and repeat. Happens to both genders but we don't get a pass for having "curves"...
Breaking the sugar addiction for me was a MF...

Why do people get fat? Is a better question. Obesity is equally distributed across genders. The reason is gluttony. Ingesting more calories than they need. Be it through food and/or drink.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is a simple issue, nor that it's a result of some kind of moral failing like "lack of willpower," laziness, or denial. Willpower cannot compensate for a toxic lifestyle.
1) Chronic life distress.
2) Nature never intended humans to eat sugar more than, say, once every week or two, stuff is toxic, long term and messes with the liver. It never intended us to eat things like white flour or white rice at every meal.
3) Spend too much time sitting during the day and not enough percentage of time standing and walking, or other exercise. Cars and idiotic zoning laws play a role in this, people in most other countries walk twice as much as those in the US do.
4) Shitty sleep habits, artificial lights are a major factor in this, so is #1
