Gonna have to elaborate. But it's because of the whole 'gatekeeper' philosophy, one of you has to open your gates under the assumption the other will follow, but as both genders know, it doesn't happen that way all the time.

Try being a decent looking, in shape, rich (in a relative sense) white male living in a small Vietnamese village. They're talking about marriage in the first few conversations and getting mad that I'm not telling them that I am dying to marry them as soon as possible. Crazy.

Depends: are you talking about commitment to plans established? Or are we talking about commitment to relationship?

In the first situation: we don't like our time wasted if you're going to flake out on a plan after setting one up. I just cut loose some retard that would do precisely this.

In the second situation: because they are giving you a massive red flag of craziness and doing you a favour. Stop flocking to crazy.
