It's her way of increasing her value. It's the same reason guys brag about how much money they make or how much they can lift or w/e. Women's value is inherently in their looks. They know that the more devoted and pathetic the guy is to them the more attractive they are as a person. They are bragging about their value to you to set their own frame.

Try some playful negging to fix this or play some standoffishness. Don't show that it bothers you or that you care about it. Pull her into your frame instead of you into hers.

She does this because, consciously, she believes it demonstrates high SMV
It's, as you say, a shit test.

Short answer: she's a solipsist.

If you can demonstrate that you, as a man, have a lot of high quality women who are interested in you (texting you, talking to you, giving you IOI's, etc) her preselection instinct is going to kick in and she'll assume you're a high value male.

She knows this is true about herself, so as a solipsist, she'll assume the same will work on you.

She's telling you cause she doesn't want you do to make those "mistakes". Same as when a girl tells you about her bf, but she's out with you.

I don't think there's a wrong answer here, I just think you should have enough to talk about that you don't have to talk about some people who she didn't sleep with. Ultimately, it doesn't matter exactly why she's telling you can't ever assess her other relationships, no matter what she tells you.

Personally I would :

I think xy is mad at me.... I like going to bookstores with him, but I think he wants more and I kinda friendzoned him

Ask her why she doesn't just sleep with him? see what she says. Or talk about why she likes going to bookstores. What kinds of books she likes.. etc...

I'd say , you must like weird guys and bad singers. Rif on singers she would like to sing her answers too. Or make her sing her answer to you see to show you how it felt for her.

I see a lot of good responses lately but one possibility I havent seen discussed is that she is shit testing you to see if you get jealous of her for having options. Chicks do this all the time as a shit test. Some of them prefer to see you get jealous and some are looking to make sure you DON'T get jealous. If she's a real head case who wants to try and illicit a jealous response I'd next her as that shit don't stop once you are dating. Huge red flag.
