Text her whenever the fuck you want to text her, but a RP man should be busy enjoying his life and doing things of value that you don't even worry about texting. You just do it when you have time and you feel like texting. I'll text plates everyday if i want whenever I'm not doing something, sometimes I'll forget they'll text me because I'm busy with my life. Some girls will text me more than others but I'm not gonna change my life for some female because idgaf about what they think. Do what you want, there is no set standard you have to follow. Just make sure you have a busy and fulfilling life and texting will come naturally.

And make sure to keep it fun and light and not take things too serious when you are texting.

Text her less than she texts you. When you do text, the text should have an objective of some kind, whether to build rapport / comfort with you or for setting up a meeting. Don't be afraid to leave her texts hanging. Girls want a challenge. You can only decrease her interest level by talking more, but doing nothing keeps it at the same level or raises it.

This girl is your girlfriend. Do whatever you want but understand that you are now in a relationship. The availability you have given her will be the expectation if you want to continue to have sex regularly.

If this is truly a fwb situation, then be prepared that this will burn out quickly. Don't get your feelings hurt if she's been getting pounded by her ex on the side because you haven't vetted her, nor has your relationship been defined.

The rules you have mentioned work on MOST women to establish a baseline power dynamic. Women are attracted to power - which is a busy man who doesn't have time to text them all day. This allows a man the freedom to continue to pursue his interests, manage multiple plates, etc. Men often get their feelings hurt because they will be in your situation, giving a woman all of his attention, maybe have sex once, then get left on read.

Actually be busy and reduce the texting. You're signalling to her that she is more important than whatever you're doing at the moment. As this now seems to be your LTR to be, some advice to pass comfort tests. Once in a while I like to reassert that I'd rather see her face to face instead of texting, and subsequently respond less. It's bordering meta-communication, very useful to defuse difficult situations in general. It may be a good middle ground for you, as you mention you feel stupid blatantly ignoring texts.

If she's truly a FWB, why text everyday. Do you text good morning texts to your bro's everyday?
