I have a big problem... Lets say i handle the gps we have in the company. One day one user calls me with question if car X has gps. I say no, as it is the truth.

Should i report this to the boss? I have to underline that managment and users are two different nationalities. The boss is a type that will fire this person probably. Its a little bit a sinking ship right now. Oh, and he is kind of a psycho about work and get 'angry' easily.

If i report this it will spread around the word that i am a rat in 2 seconds.

What would you do?
