As soul grinding as it may be, you are a person with boundaries and who should be spoken to with respect in any and all situations. Good leaders know this, bad ones dont get it or dont care. Male/female doesn't really matter in this particular instance. Keep notes of the behavior you think is actually toxic. Leave out any and all RP and keep it strictly facts and professionalism. Keep times and dates of each infraction. Approach your mutual boss after a couple of weeks, sit them down and say this behavior is unacceptable to me and I am going to quit if something is not done immediately. Sit and enjoy the show. While implementing this tune up your resume and seriously start looking for a new job.

I see your point, but I can't quit without another job waiting. I will add as a caveat that it's better to quit without a job waiting, than be fired without a job waiting, but both are situations I'd do well to avoid - particularly with my finances.

Not possible - not with the money I've got and the paucity of available work where I live, near where I live, or anywhere in the same country as where I live.
Furthermore, this job gives me a threshold quality of life that I can deal with, and would rather not get rid of. There are ways of coping with shit at work that are a little short of outright quitting 2 months in.

im sure that would be a stupid reason to quit, and nobody would suggest it. just think of putting up with her/them as a part of your job. not sure what you do, but id imagine as long as you are competent and consistent you can mostly get left alone. you do have to 'take her shit' though.. its your boss. dont be retarded. forget 'alpha' it doesnt matter in this scenario
