This girl who went to high school with me had a crush on me but I was too pussy back then to try anything. We met yesterday coincidentally as her dad owns a paintball place me and my bros went to. She became a model apparently. I started spitting game and with the amount of IOI's she was giving me I knew she still had a thing for me, she was working for her dad and her shift didn't end till we left but I still managed to escalate enough so that she wanted to kiss me on my cheek before we left. I told her I was going to text her on Instagram as I didn't have a number yet where I was, and she looked excited enough. Fast forward that night I texted her and no reply, but she posted a few things on her Instagram story so I knew she was purposefully ignoring me. I checked out those stories and this is what it said "Guys I caught feelings" "But now i'm going to have to throw them away" "And continue to work on myself and get this money". This was at night when she posted it and we met during the day so I am certain she was talking about me unless some other guy managed to make her catch feelings during her shift the very same day. Im confused, should I drop it? Do I have choice? Is this something that happens regularly, and if so how do I avoid it?
