So I've just gone out for quick drinks twice with a girl. 2nd date tried to get her to go back to my place and got the "not on a school night" excuse (it was a Sunday before work the next morning).

The problem is that each date has been a good week apart each time. Just a scheduling thing, really. Both out of town over weekends, etc. I haven't done the dinner date thing, just a drink and an hour or two.

I texted last night and she responded right away, but I'm bad at this so I'm kind of stuck. She already agreed to meet up on one of two days during the week. But I'm stuck on whether I should even bother pitching the date.

Invite her over? She'll say no, most likely. Great, move on. But part of me doesn't even want to waste time doing that. I really don't want to go to some other place to have a drink and talk yet again, but every date has had a week-long lapse in-between.

I'm over thinking this. Someone smack me on the head and put me back on the right track.

Yes... I am talking to other women and actively trying to set up other dates.
