Pedestal syndrome.

Just because it was 3 years ago, doesn't mean you fully dealt with your feelings.

We often bury and lock up our deeper emotions and thus, years later, they come back as though it was yesterday.

Spend some time allowing yourself to go over the events with her in your mind. Let yourself feel what you need to feel. Also, do a mental pros and cons list. What did you do that wasnt reciprocated? What did you need but wasn't given?

I'm not saying you need to write a "demonize her" list, but unrequited feelings are much like the feelimgs after a breakup. Either we remember all the good things or we remember all the bad things.

A part of healing is bringing the good and bad together and thus having a fuller picture of the relationship.

So. Take some time away from her and give yourself some time to brimg it all together. Honestly, a pen and paper and a list of things that made you feel good or bad while in this friendship with her.

It might help you collect your thoughts and ground yourself.

I find that if I'm feeling nervous about attempting something I just do it because the outcome will be the same if you get rejected and if you don't go for it.

I've noted it before, but socializing and dealing with women from a time before you took trp tends to revert you back to your old beta self. Because that's how you are used to interacting with them to begin with.

It's in the past at this point, take it as a lesson and move on.

Yeah dude you cared about her and mentally you’re still beneath her. So the validation and affection feels strange because you aren’t used to it. You need to fuck her and dispel the emotions you’ve built up. Once you fuck you’ll realize she’s normal just like everybody else.

Also you need to accept that you’ve changed. You’re different. You raised your SMV and you need to adjust mentally. You DO deserve her. That’s why she’s fucking with you. You don’t have to dog her but realize you’re that fucking guy now and she’s fucking with you for a reason.

This is a mental/confidence adjustment.
