Your read of this situation is correct. With that said, she's only acting in her own self-interest. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just not what you're looking for.

Read your post. Tell me who the main character is in it? then explain to me how making yourself the protagonist will change how this reads?

This has happened to me every so often and the only reasonable explanation is that they are most likely upset you took control and they want to be the one in control. This person is going to be difficult in the long run and you two will have conflicting personalities. Not worth a second thought.

Sounds like she is religious. These are the only chicks that make men wait, for any extended period of time, these days. Most women are straight up ho's so, the fact that she is protesting even a kiss signals she has some deep seated religious beliefs.

The good news is that she is probably a virgin and someone who actually has a moral compass. The bad news is that you prob don't have the balls to wait around long enough to find out if she is quality. Oh well, back on the hedonic treadmill you go...
