So I finally managed to get rid of a BPD STR of 4 months. 4 months of hell where I lost myself, became casual/comfortable, stopped working out as much, stopped working hard etc.

One of the things she said during the breakup is that I was boring and detached.

The 2nd part I agree. I wasn't too into this girl, she was attractive and really, really smart but I was never in love and didn't really see a future together. So naturally I didn't invest too much which really bothered her narscissistic self. (Her ex bfs were super bp and she loves the idea of her man being head over heels over her.)

But it's the first part that's bothering me. How do you guys manage to be the fun guy to hang out with all the time? It's honestly exhausting to be that guy consistently.

Also in retrospect, we didn't have much to do when we met. Our job timings are insane so we didn't get to hang out much and even when we did we were usually exhausted.

I'm just confused as to what you're supposed to do when you hang out with your girlfriend. Going out partying, exploring new places and Netflix quickly gets boring. What things can you do on a regular basis that doesn't get old too quick?

I know you guys will say that you should have your own hobbies and you can ask her to tag along but the things I do aren't really interesting enough as couple activities. My free time usually involves studying to improve my business, reading, gym, gaming, play guitar, weekly poker session, watch football with the boys.

Any hobbies that you guys recommend worth picking up that are fun and also bring value to your life?
