Just another progress update with regards to getting back on the game. Met A from my previous post again at my local Nando's. We chatted about food and nutrition and our respective families. Over food we joked about how the food took ages to come and a little bit about work and other interests. Afterwards I asked her what she wanted to do, reeling off a list:

She promptly suggested that we go for a walk then Shibari. I took her up a trendy street nearby as she recounted her university years. I told her a little about my own background and the history of the local buildings before suggesting that we turn back. Once in my monk like room, I pulled out the rope and flicked through a couple of books with her. In order to escalate I handed her the book and then sat down close next to her on my bed. While she was flicking through it, I tucked her hair behind her ear and moved in for the kiss. After making out and escalating to undoing her bra, I suggested we turn the lights off. The day after this I decided to go and meet some of my friends at a bar. One of them was keen for me to wing him, however we had no luck, simply getting odd looks for talking to people and women freezing us out. A lot of the time my chat was shit starting with a simple hello and asking about work. I need to ask an interesting question in order to get the ball rolling. I had a problems even saying hello to a lot of people as they were simply absorbed in their phones or had a hotter than thou attitude (it was a pretty trendy arty bar.) After opening as many sets as possible and approaching everyone I could I called it a night. Was frustrated that the only woman interested was a middling 6/10. This has been a long standing problem for me with women who are interested in me being around this level. Is this a reflection of my own worth do you think on the sexual market?

The net day I decided to go to a conference. I made some good friends but again was getting frozen out by the hot women that I introduced myself to. It was an absolute nightmare. Have no idea what was going wrong. My entry was to introduce myself and say that it was my first time. They then gave me a sceptical look and did not say anything. WTF!?

Came home that night and cocked up again, after falling in love with one of my friends sisters we chatted and joked all night. I went away and came back smacking her on the back in a matey way. Fuck me. Then after he went down she decided to stay up for a few seconds I missed that this was probably for my benefit, made my excuses and hugged her good night. She whispered "mmm cozy." I headed down and only clocked this an hour later. I then texted her to ask if her number was real. No reply. FML.
