Went out solo and spent about 3 hours walking around in the mall, no number, just a lot of mediocre conversations. Felt aimless most of the time. I was never able to get into that groove of just feeling good and going with the flow, having fun. I was too much in my head. Either I would open, and have a very platonic and short conversation, never expressing my interest because I felt like the girl wasn't interested so I just let her walk away, or just not open at all despite there being no reason for me not to open. In short, my fear and general lack of aggressiveness hurt me. Not giving a girl the opportunity to reject me was worse than being rejected. Not expressing myself prevented me from getting into the groove.

I feel kind of shitty, kind of like a pansy, but I'm not going to beat myself over this too much. Today was the first time I went out by myself to pick up and actually opened. It's a process and I'm going to keep at this and hopefully figure it out. Any tips welcome.

I'm thinking I'll do another post tomorrow, would love for someone to join.
