Am I going nuts here? Been talking to a girl that just can't find anything to say. I can be having a conversation with her. Engaging in a conversation topic. Then i'll pause, as I should to allow the other person to participate. And the first thing out of her mouth is "oh... hmmm.... what do you want to talk about?". I mean were talking right now, why do we have to suddenly change the subject? Not the first time this happens, I just don't get it. She just got back from a week long trip to Europe and I had to pull information out of her to find out what it was like, and even that was so generic. I just don't get it. I think i'm a pretty empathetic person and I can't understand why you just draw a blank then ask a person what they want to talk about when they are actively talking to you about what they want to talk about! Is this an autistic thing or something? I need an angle here Reddit.
