A friend of mine HB7 invited me to a party she is having on friday. I've been gaming this HB9.5 in one of my classes. She also is mutual friends with HB7. So after class I asked HB9.5 what she as doing on Friday.

That is where I made my mistake.

She said her roommate was having a birthday something on friday. I told her about the party (that is in her same apartment complex) and she sounded pretty excited and she she will have to stop by and have a few drinks.

What I would like to point out here is that instead of asking her what she was doing on friday I should have just straight up told her to come. HB9.5s are always doing stuff on friday nights.

If I tell her to come without asking, it is more of an alpha type move. Also you have to be neutral about their answer. Make her think that it's not a huge deal if she comes for you because there will be plenty of other tang to be had there. If she does say she will come then you can't be too excited because they would portray a sort of Beta interest in her. Plus if she comes you can use all of your /r/seduction techniques to seal the deal
