Please note that I am still slightly buzzed.

So tonight began as an eventful fun night: My buddy and I were hanging out, since we hadn't in a long time. Well this girl, we'll call her K, texted me saying she was out at the bars with her friend A, for this one. I've never hung outwith K before and was not too encouraged to miss out on a guys night. Well she offered to buy a drink and as I haven't worked in a few weeks, figured Id atleast think of a back up plan incase she wasn't that great, you know? So I had my buddy D come out with me. We got to the bar and K was about a 6. But her friend, A, she was a 9.

We were at a slow bar with not much happening and D was being antisocial, so I moved us to another bar, after being "forced" to drink the rest of Ks rum concoction. A was the one that had the idea. Keep in mind at this point I had locked eyes a few times. I think she was just trying to get me drunk for K. But I'm no lightweight. So we leave and as we are walking to the next bar, which is more of a club vibe, we run into 2 old classmates of mine and Ds. Well call them Alex, the guy (whom is of the gay veriaty), and Missey, this really gorgeous girl.

It was Alexs 21St and they were headong to the bar we were just at. After a few minutes of chit chat, we parted ways. SO they for of us get to the next bar and I've been trying to keep conversation going between all of us so that D doesn't seem outlandish, while maximizing to the best of my ability to talk to A. We get int he club/bar and K and A go up to get drinks, so we followed them and I tapped A on the shoulder saying that we were going to find a place to sit. I picked the stools along the dancefloor.

After a few minutes the girls came back and I tried to keep the conversation flowing between the 2 girls, while trying to keep interaction to A. After a little while there few light touching, I'm terrible with Kino, but its going pn between both girls and finally D jas broken through and began interacting. I'm still maintaining as much Eye contact with A as is posible, basically keeping eye contact with whichever girl I was speaking to. Well low and behold I see Alex and Missey walk up behing our group!

So a few minutes passes by, A and K are conversing, and I decide I'm going to talk to Alex, as sort of a detour to talk to Missey. D followed me and we both chatted back and forth, I kept eye contact with Missey, even swithing to her while I talked to Alex. Then she wanted to move, so we moved closer to the dance floor, at the table next to A and K. At this point I was switching betweem talking to Missey and A. Swivel stools are amazing. Alex and D went to get shots and I focused on Missey then swapped back to A. I was trying to get A back for her "forcing" me to finish Ks drink, she wasn't having it. So I let up.

Then Missey and Alex decided they were going to dance. I waved to A and followed after them. I'm a terrible dancer, but for a white boy I have a bit of flow. Better than the nervous guy who looked like a tree with his dancing. Alex and Missey and I were having a great time for atleast an hour when I noticed A and K had gainwed a male companion and I went over to the table trying to becon A out on the floor. She wouldn't come. So I stood there chatting between her, K and the guy, we actually had the same name so I made a joke about that.

As the conversation seemed to die back down, I went back to Missey and Alex. We danced for awhile then Missey left to go meet someone that she also was meeting for the first time. D came over and Alex explained this to us. He wanted to meet him to, and I wanted to cut in, so I took the very wavey Alex over to the two. Missey introduced Alex, but not us, so I spoke up and said 'What? You can't introduce us?' She looked surprised and introduced D and I, I gave him a good handshake. Then Alex and D went out for a smoke and Missey and her gentlemen friend to the dance floor as A and K came up, ready to leave. We chatted for a bit and A was being hit on left and right. K told me she always gets hit on. I was in the mindset that I wanted to ask A for her number, but having heard that I began to change my mind. The point is to stand out right? Well if every guy asks and hits on you then the guy that made an impression, which I surely had what with her locking eyes EVERY time I spome and even touching me on her own, who DOESN'T outright ask, mighg seem a bit different. So instead I gave them both hugs and invited them to play pool tomorrow night with D and a few other friends.

After this, I walked away to talk to Alex and D outside. Both were chit chatting and Alex asked if I saw Missey. I said no, he said she was dancing. D said 'lets go inturupt!' Alex laughed and said 'nah lets not bother her'.

At this point I was feeling very cocky. I slapped on the chest lightly and said 'in High school, I was a pansey. Now I'm not. There's a gorgeous girl in there with agiy she doesn't know. I'm jumping in' and turned around and walked through the front door liks I owned the place.

I walked straight up to them as a song began and started dancing to it. I was terrible! I had NEVER heard the song before, and it was one of those line dancey club tunes like the Macarana. Alex new what he was doing when he jumped in, and apparently so did the guy Missey was with. So I watched tjem and slowly got the hang of it. It was terrible but atleast I was having fun laughing and dancing with Missey as opposed to the guy who looked like Kevin Bacon in Footloose (no friggin joke).

Afterwards, D was ready to leave so I pulled my phone out and lead with getting Alexs # for future hangouts, gave em a guy hug, then looked at Missey and got her number, while I was. still slightly dancing to the closing tunes. After she gave me my phone I went in for a hug and got one whole heartedly, after which I gave Alex a high five and Kevin Bacon a handshake and D and I were out the door.

So to me, this was a successfully fun night. Conetely Outcome Idependent because I had no idea about either A or Missey before it happened, got some free drinks and got to pop Alex's bar cherry with a bang as well as Misseys # and possibly a remeet with K and A.
