Good evening, all. I'm sure that a few of you have seen my posts on here or askSeddit, where I also spend most of my time on this website. I stumbled upon this website in July of 2013 while looking for places to take a girl out on a first date. I accidentally stumbled on a "how to get laid" guide, which I bookmarked for future reading. At the time, I hadn't had a girlfriend, or even associated romantically with a girl in over 3 years (my sophomore year in high school). And, because all of my close friends have been in long term relationships for a while or get laid often, I didn't want this girl to get away (even though I wasn't really attracted to her). She gave me my first kiss, but broke up with me a week later because I was too awkward and over-bearing around her after I asked her out. She started dating another guy pretty soon. I experienced the greatest heartaches and pains I have ever underwent; Like Hitch, I wanted to become a master of seduction to win her back, so I read every guide here, and I've read a ton of books on seduction and winning friends. After a few weeks, I came to the conclusion that I had a bigger problem than the girl, and thus my journey on self improvement started.

I broke my life into castes: school, gym, my hobby (I picked up a sport), ways to improve intellectually, music, friends and women. Because of the nature of this thread, I will only focus on the women aspect.

Anywho, I remember the first few times I tried canned lines on girls (I had the charisma and humor that could make any girl blush :P). I would approach girls at school, or at a mall, and I went in strong, but would lose confidence the second I opened them up. I didn't know what to say, and it would become super awkward really soon. One time I was on a shuttle bus (my university has a few campuses), and I approached the most attractive girl on the bus. I opened her up, and I kept spewing stupid shit, and eventually her body language and facial expressions depicted how uncomfortable she was, but she didn't call me out on it, I just shut up right after, and it was the most awkward 30 minute ride of my life.

This past week, I was at a party, and I approached the hottest girl there. I was in dismay by the fact that she chased me around the house, and did everything in her power to by close to me despite the fact that guy whom were significantly more attractive than me approached her. I wasn't paying too much attention to her because I was there with my friends, and I just wanted to celebrate that we finished another semester. By the end up the party, she jumped on me and made out with me. I'm getting better girl to chase me like its my not even my serious business, you hear that [redacted]?

Is a player made or born? Let me retrogress a minute—I have a friend who is pretty lucky around the ladies. He's tall, tan, intelligent and handsome. He has always had girls approach him, and he treats them as friends, and then when he asks them out he goes Disney movie typecast on them. Some of them stick around for a while, some of them dump him instantly. Nonetheless, he's always been dumped, and ends up with a bad case of oneitis. I've had a bunch of girls approach me during high school and ask me out, but I usually ruined it pretty soon. So, much like anything, there are people who appear naturally good at, as if they were born with the skills, but from my tertiary experience, it seems like a player is made.

Overall, I am an alpha, but not just for the women. When I walk into a room, I make sure I own it, and captivate everyone in it. I ran into a girl from my high school a month ago and she was taken aback by the man I had become, she actually started to cry.

So my advice to all people who are reading this is:

  1. It is imperative to obliterate your vapid insecurities. I wish I was a bit taller (right now I'm 5'9, and I used to use that as an excuse to not approach women, but there's not much I can do to change that, so I just improved my appearance in other ways and it doesn't bother me as much). I used to be super insecure, I would be afraid to even talk to women that worked at stores, so what I did was: go to stores and get girls who worked there to help me out with the clothes, I would say witty things, and I remember one time I got a girl at guess to try on a pair of skinny jeans then she bent over, and I told her to bend over again, I liked what I saw. I said it super confidently because I didn't really give a shit what she said. She actually gave me a pat on the arm and laughed. It helped me build confidence to saying sexy things to women in real life.

  2. Treat women with respect and dignity, but if they are being rude, call them out on it, or walk out. I do not meek in the face of disrespect, especially is it's undeserved. It is one of my most terrible things on this planet. It is the cesspool of intolerance! Don't freak out and yell at her, just giver her a serious face and confront, and walk out. I remember one time I was talking to a tutor, She had a bitchy attitude, and everyone told me they hated her. She wasn't bitchy to me, but she did have a bitchy closed body language. I kinoed her, and had a douchebag attitude. By the end of the meeting, I got her to open up to me and talk to me about her hometown, she asked me what I was going to do after, because she was free. I could have k-closed her on the spot, but I chose not to because I actually could use a tutor. Since then, she has personally gone out of her way to help me out with that class. I plan to ask her to hang though...

  3. Make money or your career your first priority. I will never spend too much money on a girl ever again. I made that mistake before. As a broke college student, I would like to one day own a mansion, and a Ferrari. I will not let a girl, whom will probably not be a part of my life a year from now interfere in that dream.

  4. Biologically, men only care about looks. When I date a girl, I'd rather date a girl whom is intelligent and has the same drive as me. Looks are important to some extent, but its more of a pass or fail for me now. I will never go crazy for a girl over her looks, I want an intelligent girl that is doing something with her life.

  5. My text game is tight. I don't waste my time texting girls because I keep myself busy with other stuff. It's better to call the girl. Guys say it comes off as needy, but I usually just leave a funny voice mail that doesn't have to be responded to if she doesn't answer.

  6. Do something you love. A self-validating hobby really helped me increase my confidence.

  7. YOLO. Have some fun, and don't be afraid to approach girls. I remember how my feet would shake and my heart would race when I would approach a girl and tell her I thought she was cute. One time a girl took 30 seconds to turn her head and respond to me. I started spewing some random crap about how she looked familiar, and that just made it worst. Now, I literally don't feel anything when i go up to a girl. Only a few girls have flat out rejected me. For the most part, women are non-confrontational and won't blow you off. Sadly, rejection still hurts, me. But, it's not as bad as it used to be.

  8. /u/Happyjerk put this very well:

"“It won’t hurt to call her one more time.” Yes it will. Even if you’ve given up on her and want to throw one last Hail Mary, you are lowering your value in your own eyes. You are what you do and every time you get rejected, your brain undergoes a chemical reaction where it thinks its more of a piece of shit than before. Feelings of social anxiety, inferiority and attachment are emotions that we can’t completely control, and pursuing women that are rejecting us just make those emotions worse. And “she’s really hot” isn’t an excuse." P.s., Check out the guys, blog, it really helped me out a lot

  9. KINO, KINO, KINO... DID I FORGET TO MENTION KINO ESCALATION?

  10. Don't count on anyone. Try to be as independent as you can. You can't always count on people, and your friends will flake. There comes a time in your life when you have to only look after numero uno, and take action on what needs to be done. Be the Fucking man! Facebook was a distraction that inhibited me from my potential and a massive time-sink, so I deleted it.

  11. Emotions suck, sometimes I wish I never have to experience oneitis again, but that's impossible. Does anyone know how to control their emotions better?

  12. be kind and have a positive attitude. I don't let people walk over me, I just give people respect and am not phased when things go wrong. Especially when I can't control them.

  13. Make the conversation about the other person. thats the key to keep the conversation going and getting girls into you. Also, act genuinely interested. Smile. But don't be too interested. I kind of have a 'douchebag, not too interested' attitude on when I meet a girl.

Have a good night, everyone. In conclusion, be the best fucking man you can me! As of today, I am going to take a break from women and focus on my grades and job. I'll still be around on Seddit to answer questions and post stuff. Thanks to Seddit, I got my confidence, and I learned to prioritize my life in other regions. It's been a great journey, and this sub-reddit turned me from a needy boy to a man who takes action on what he wants. temporary happiness is not as good as achieving bigger things. The information on here is valuable and impacted me in the biggest ways possible.
