Though the majority of it is regarding classical music, towards the end, he begins to talk about passion. Three awesome things that I got from the video:

  • Around 17:00. He was talking about increasing that 3% to 4%. "How would you talk, how would you walk" etc. etc. Well I applied that towards gaming. My personal philosophy now will be, "This girl loves me already, she just doesn't know it.

  • Regarding "shining eyes" at around 18:20. As applied towards gaming: "Who am I being, that this woman's eyes are not shining?" However, I must say that if her eyes are not shining because there is genuinely nothing you have in common with her, then it's time to eject.

  • "I will never say anything that could not stand, as the last thing I would say." I think this applies towards gaming in the fact that, "you always want to leave the girls better than when you found them."

Although the "good stuff" (in regards to gaming at least) is towards the end, I would suggest watching the TED talk in it's entirety, as the guy is an engaging speaker.
