In the classic The 48 Laws of Power, one of the laws is to create value through scarcity. The book describes the tulip mania in the Netherlands created by the rich withholding the supply of tulips, thus increasing the value of each individual one.

Creating value through scarcity applies to texting. The more one is seen and heard, the more commonplace they appear, and the less value they have.

Abundance drives the price down. Having an abundance of women in your life means each individual one is worth less.

This is how I use scarcity and abundance to make something more or less valuable. More of something means less value, less of something means more value.

I try to text less to more women. This creates value for my texts and takes away value for each individual woman.
