Hey R/seduction! Over the years I've [M, 28] helped several of my friends out who weren't exactly "ladies men" over the years with some success. I'm having trouble giving advice to my best friend's little brother Joe [M, 22] (and the closest thing I've had to a little brother), who while is a legitimately good guy isn't quite playing with a "full deck" intellectually or in personality. While as far as I know he has no diagnosable learning disability and attended regular classes in school, from a very young age his family knew he was a bit slow. He's trying to put himself out there without much luck, and I want to do what I can to help him out.
I'm not super deep into the "POA" community but I focus on helping them recognize and emphasize the positive parts of one's personality. I also usually try to help my friends realize that just because they're having trouble in their love life doesn't mean that there's something wrong with them, and that they as normally functioning people can learn the social skills that nobody ever taught them. In Joe's case, however, despite being a kind, polite person, no matter what he does to work on his social skills women will inevitably recognize that he's not "all there". This is a roadblock I've never had to deal with personally or with people I know.
One thing Joe does have going for him is that he is a very good looking guy and with his shirt off looks like an Abercrombie model. He also dresses well and has no hygiene problems, so there are no easy more easy fixes I can think of in that department. Not to denigrate myself but I have no experience leveraging my looks to attract women so in that way I'm out of my depth.
If anybody can give me advice I'd appreciate it!
