More detail needed. Why'd you break plans, what did you say and what was the response?

In general don't read too much into this type of thing. It's not a big deal to break of plans, just make an effort to make new ones.

For future reference, sometimes you can create problems out of over-analyzing or making a big deal out of them.

I knew a guy who had somewhat flirtatious on-off relationships with a few girls and they would talk semi-regularly but not super-seriously. When he entered into a LTR he called every single one of them to tell them he couldn't keep it up and every single one of them got pissed at him and started being argumentative. The only reason that happened is because he thought it was a big deal and that he was obligated to call them and talk about it. Fuck that - situations change all the time, we're all adults, we can deal with it without having to explain ourselves every single time.
