She responds 3 days after your initial text giving you BS excuse.
She doesn't offer a chance to meet.
She doesn't ask you if you are interested to make it some other day.

For me it seems it is a lost cause. But you can use some practice.

You don't text like "don't sweat it" because it will leave everything hanging. You text her "Don't sweat it! I'll be there again in 2 weeks. Lets grab a drink then. I'll be free on X".

If she starts to talk about plans, cut contact. If she accepts, you check on her two days prior. And then you go find another girl. And make plans with her on other days and don't hold this girl over your head. Don't have any expectations about her. If she rejects a date after you check up on her two days prior the date and doesn't offer anything in return, you cut the contact.

If she offers some other day that is close (like next day), give it a chance. Keep her as a (n+1)th option.

I think you should at least somewhat text between the time you are away, it will make things smooth .
