I think you're looking at this the wrong way. There's no way to dress "alpha", just dress well. Go on the malefashionadvice subreddit, see what people are wearing, see what you like. Then drop the money on it.

Tattoo's, A Beard, A thick wrist band, A watch, A belt, Rings (multiple), Good shoes with a platform or wooden sole (the sound you make when walking over wood will make others look at you.

Wear something low key but unique to you that can start a conversation. Such as I wear my Eagle Scout and Order of the Engineer rings which almost never fail to get noticed and I can impress them with some of my accomplishments (I have some cool, not too geeky accomplishments which draw them in). It can be anything really, just make sure it doesn't clash with your outfit and is distinctively YOU.
