On mobile

So I have been using Tinder now for a few weeks and I actually have been pretty successful. Made a solid profile with good pics and interesting bio. If I do it for just a little each day I get a couple matches. And if the girl seems intelligent or responds I have always got the number. No failure.

Well this week I have been busy moving and havent had time to go out. So I matched a girl on there this past Monday . We text and I asked to go out Thursday. It was one of the only free days I had until the weekend. She then told me hers plans up to next Monday when she will be leaving for Texas for vacation.

She asked what I was doing Saturday?

I told I would be free Saturday night if she wanted to meet up. She explained her friend was wanting to go out to the clubs for her birthday. And asked if I want to come along. I said of course.

Now here's the problem (maybe).

I know you should just stop texting up til the date. But we keep messaging each other. It's not dull or boring convos. Constant flirting and such. She laughs and stuff.

I'm just kinda of confused. Is online dating alot different? Like do most girls want to kinda of get to chat with you before you meet?

She is not the only one. There are a couple of girls I have set dates with but they want to chat alot before hand as well. Is that just how online dating works? I can do normal approach ask her out and then wait for date fine but to me it seem girls online want to know you before the date. Or am I the only one that thinks this?
