So the reason I am writing here is because i think I am doing something wrong when I (24 F) flirt with a guy.

I have tried a lot, due to some personal problems/insecurities I have to be more confident and i think that up to a certain point that I have achieved that. I can talk to people and I can socialize well. I can hold a conversation and I have hobbies.

When I met someone at a bar for example or somewhere else there are two possible endings. Either he will give me his number and then we will plan a date and a few days before that day we will meet he calls me to say that he doesn't like me anymore and wants to cancel the date. Or if I met the guy for example at some other place a cafe or the library lets say he will only talk to me so he can date my friend.

This happens quite a lot so I would like to ask if there is something I am doing wrong or if something else is going wrong
