I always thought that I had no anxiety at all (in any area). Yet a friend realized that I couldn't relax whenever I saw a knife and so I started thinking about that ... I came to the point that I was scared in many things.

  • Here's an example: I'm very good with girls (reality-based statement) But whenever a girl wants me to kiss her, I can't do it - or at least not immediately. I'm scared even though I know that nothing bad can happen.

I tell myself that the girls are not good enough for me but ... I'm not sure if that's the point or if I think that to escape my fears

How do you think about that from a non-subjective point of view?
