I live in NYC, and I take the train to and from class (senior in high school). I've been wanting to try pickup on the train, but I usually never do it because I'm never in the mood to do it early in the morning or late after school when I take it.

1)What do you do about the headphones situation? Literally everyone (especially my age) are always in their own private circle with their music or phone. If I ever want to talk to a girl on the train, I have to literally motion to her to take off her headphones first so I can actually begin talking to her 2) Should I just avoid doing it on the train? I feel like everyone is in a rush to get to where they're going, and nobody wants to actually meet new people or socialize with anyone they don't know on the train.
