Accept that you probably won't have mutual chemistry. But there's no way to know but to go talk with her. Next time you see her in the library or coffee-shop, or somewhere where she's sitting still, make eye contact. If she holds your eyes for a moment, even just a 1/2 second pause, especially if she also has a micro-expression of any kind, then go talk with her about some subject of potentially mutual interest. Have fun, be playful and centered. She will almost certainly not be interested. But who know? So flirt a bit, find a way to have fun talking to her, and if she flirts back a bit, or seems coy, then ask her if she wants to meet for coffee and get her number. If she keeps a flat aspect, like someone who's politely irritated, then say good bye and drop it.

On the way to the bus, on the bus stop. It can start as simple as finding out what class shes going into and takllking about that. Ideally good if you can make her laugh at the beginning. Then its just holding that down

Walk up to her patting your pockets as if looking for something and then say "Excuse me! I seem to have lost my number. Can I have yours?"

I would say try and pay attention to anything in particular she wears most often. If you see her once or twice a day on the bus or etc, look out for some thing that stands out, even if its small. Like enamel pins on a bag, is there a emblem/character on a key chain, or an item that stands out that you can start a conversation with. If its something she constantly has on that you can research, use that. It might be something she has a hobby/like in. Does she pack around a sketch pad, certain types of reading books that are not school related. Even if you dont have a like in it, it would be the easiest way to research to have material for a conversation starter. If its something super girly you can lie and say a friends kid or niece likes that same thing and you would like to get them a gift for their birthday coming up but dont know much about said thing and was hoping anyone who obviously has an interest in it could give advice on it. It will hopefully get her talking. Would suggest if bus is fairly crowded, use the moment to ask if you can sit by her and wait a bit before trying to ask about said item. Take your time to be like "Oh hey you like....." But make sure you have back up fake info to add in if she asked their name or birthday. Dont want to be caught off guard. Or if there is a seat behind her that is available use that to tap her on the shoulder and say "Couldnt help but notice you had..." but make sure you have taken some time to research said item so you sound legit. A female will be more interested in interacting in something that they take interest in and a guy noticing said item will win more points.

Most female introverts (me being one) dont care for small talk and we dont care to put energy into talking about stuff we dont know about. We can go on and on about stuff we like, which will make it easier. In a sense that the more she talks, the more she will get comfortable. Just make sure to appear like you are interested in what she has to say even if you dont really care. Its just if you come off as fake and you didnt do your research well enough on said thing, she will likely catch on quick. Other scenario is she will make something up to cut you short and end conversation from even starting after you ask about said item. If that is the case, its a no she is not interested.

If she does talk and begins to come off comfortable talking after a while and she thinks she might of given you the perfect idea for a perfect gift for said niece or friends kid, maybe then says "Im not entirely sure just yet. Would you mind exchanging numbers and I could call you to bounce more ideas. I just want to get them the perfect gift." If she is likely interested in you, she will accept exchanging numbers. If she is not she will likely say no.

Staring at her until she will catch eye contact with you, as someone suggested, can make someone uncomfortable and might ruin your chance because you come off as being creepy. Most introverts want to ignore the world around them and just get from point A to point B in public. Most people prefer small talk which many introverts feel is wasted time and not stimulating to the brain.
