I realized something the other day: most of the restraints in life are just mental constructs that exist solely in our head. Once this is realized, they can be easily knocked down.

I was on a freetour with RSD Max. Now this guy is a celebrity in many circles, so I was intimidated by him. At the end of the freetour there was a group of people surrounding him asking him questions.

I wanted to take a picture with him. Then the excuses started filling my mind. He probably gets asked that all the time. He will say no and shame you in front of others. It is rude to ask him for a picture. Just move on.

So I went up to him, asked him a question about his new product, then to alleviate my fears I said the following line, "Hey if I don't ask this I will be regretting it for the rest of the day. Can I take a picture with you?" To which he responded "Absolutely!". We took two fun selfies and I thanked him.

I was amazed. All the fears and roadblocks were completely made up in my head. I asked, and he said yes. I didn't have to even justify my point.

This applies in game as well. At night, I always ask the girl if she wants to go to an after party. I am pleasantly surprised at how many say yes.

During the day, I always ask for the instant date. If that doesn't work I ask for the number. But I am always asking, and through asking I open up new avenues of opportunity.
