Get her to talk about herself. Ask a lot of questions that arent inappropriate, or weird. Start out with silly things like her favorite colors, and such things. If she talks and smiles, good chance she likes you, if not, leave her be, she is either busy, not interested, or just not in the mood.

As a confident man, you are confident in silence. Learn to embrace it, and don't let it get to you. If you can learn to not be awkward, and sit there, she will talk. Just by locking eyes with her - she will fill the space with talking, not you. She's the female, females will talk forever given the opportunity.
