She is on the fence, and doesnt has a need to be invested. As a rule of thumb on this sub, txting is for setting up dates. So do that, and avoid wasting your and her time, as it seems you guys arent conversing in a meaningful way.

You like her and you try hard for her, if she liked you she would try to initiate convo with you as well. She probably did at the beginning. And you probably thought she would wait years until you make a move. But they never wait that long, maybe maximum 2 weeks if they are really into you. My advice is to go all in, call her and tell her the truth that you like her so much and tell her that your intentions werent to become her best gay friend. Close the phone and if she calls back and sounds receptive tell the time and place for a date.
