Unfortunately, most people in the seduction 'industry' aren't trained psychologists, they are salesmen, who sell you their theory.

I find you should test things out before you form an opinion on most things and just try to ignore the faff that most PUA's include with their material.

I understand the drive to learn the tools and the theory without the principles (belief structures) of the guys teaching them. However, you're going to find out real quickly that no amount of techniques and tactics make up for flaws in your inner game. So I would really start with resources dedicated to that instead.

Check out Tyler Durden (Real Social Dynamics) Blueprint Decoded. Multiple layers of deep identity level change -> I've listened/watched it 5 times now and gotten deeper and deeper changes out of each experience. Ross Jefferies has some great confidence building, as well as Hypnotica.

After your inner game is dialed (and this will take a while), then go into the techniques and tactics. Then will you not only have the knowledge of what they are and why they work, but you'll also have an internal congruency that will literally make these tactics and techniques secondary and nonessential to your pickup. You won't need them, and adding them in after the fact only exponentially increases your success.

Just skim material for routines and techniques and write those down in a spreadsheet. Go through just a few books/videos doing that and you'll very quickly amass a large collection of techniques. Ta da. :)

I've found the book of pook posted here: http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/hgfjl/the_book_of_pook/ To be the most helpful seduction guide I've read. The idea of self game is far more appealing to me then starter formulas and routines because eventually you will run out of things to say if that is all you study.
