One thing that will help you overcome this is to open everyone possible.

You do not need to run game on them, just talk. The easiest place to start are shop clerks and cashiers, once you become comfortable doing this take it to the next level.

This is such a simple, effective and also underrated way in making you more comfortable in social situations. This will also help you on dates and when you decide to start cold approaching.

if I feel a bud of anxiety growing inside wherever or whenever; ranging from riding an elevator with just another person to pre-approach, I sometimes close my eyes and take a few deep breathes and realize; they know nothing about you, therefore - to them you are nothing more than the sum of your actions, they don't know you've gotten rejected X amount of times or Y amount of girls have laughed in your face after you approached them.
