Had recently met a girl in her mid 30s and went out on a couple of dates with her. This was my first experience with someone much older than me (mid 20s) and I was very nervous and intimidated. She read me like a book and I could tell she was turned off by how unconfident I was.

After the second date she still invited me over to her place and we fucked. Honestly, i’m pretty attractive so I feel like that was the only reason she even entertained that. On top of it all, my nervousness led to performance anxiety which has never happened before. She would keep on mentioning my confidence, saying things like, “You need to be way more confident, I mean LOOK at you”, referring to how I look.

We were supposed to get together a third time but she messaged me before that calling it off, saying that the age difference was a thing and that we were both on completely different pages. Which is unfortunate because I feel like having sex with her really took away all nervousness and I was ready to act like my normal self.

Is it possible for me to salvage this? She’s only in town for a month so i’d regret not trying again. I’m going dancing this weekend so I was thinking of a way to ask her but I feel like it may be too late.
