I love books, I actually say that every time I get the chance. They have helped me so much. Including when it comes to seduction. My main interests are science and philosophy but I think it is safe to say seduction falls under philosophy, if not ethics.

Robert Greene - The Art of Seduction

This might be the first book I would recommend to anyone who would want to learn how to seduce, the old school way. There are similar concepts like in today's books, but this is a tad more romantic. Even though the author uses examples from the dark ages and the Age of Enlightenment; the devilish ways still apply today. Boys will be boys and women will be women.

Neil Strauss - The Game

Currently re-reading it for inspiration. I see it now as more of a story than an actual method on how to seduce women. But it still boosts my confidence in some small way and if you don't take it all too seriously (the magic, the peacocking, the narcissism, the NLP, the automated routines and responses etc.) then the book is quite entertaining. Most women, at least here in The Netherlands, have heard of it or read it (no pun intended). Like watching a cool movie or listening to a good song is how I would recommend to read it now.

Mystery - The Pickup Artist

Again, just a cool story. It inspired me to work on how to seduce strippers (with minor success) and once you get the hang of it can be quite addictive. I think allot of guys still fantasize what it would be like to live that PUA Rockstar lifestyle, I've lived it to a certain extent and this book partially inspired me to take that route.

Tim Veninga - Manslut

Originally written in Dutch, I don't know if this book is available in English. If it is I definitely recommend it! This book has a good story and is the best book I've ever read when it comes to the practicality of seduction. Tim Veninga is a bright no nonsense kind of guy (in so far that I know him) and has written this book with sincere intentions on helping improve your social interactions with women. The subtext is ''...a one-way ticket to a lonely life full of gorgeous women, sex and wonder.'' True story;)

Matt Artisan's Guide To Texting

Excellent! Is all I can say. Want to improve your overall text game? It's not really a book, more like a few pages of solid info and clear examples on the do's and dont's when it comes to texting. I haven't checked if it's available as an e-book but I'm almost certain that if you ask him nicely he might have it. It's not expensive either.

Lastly, when you find a good book it really helps to just try what the book says without adding any of your own ideas to start with. Are there tips on how to improve your body language? Stand in front of a mirror and practice! Become self aware of what you are practicing and then go out and try it. Does it ask you to record you own voice to improve your tone? Give it a try. Action and confidence are the only two things you need to make a start without a coach.

My first book was a Dutch book called (rough translation) ''Confident With Women''. I set aside my pride, looked like a dork standing alone in front of the mirror pushing out my chest, cocking my head back slightly and walking around the room like I was hot shit. Haha. But it worked, because after two months I got my first kiss close in the club...ever! And she was beautiful. Trust me, I wasn't that confident. I was insecure but I really wanted to get out of the sorry friend-zone state I was in.
