I was wondering whether one of you could offer me some of your wisdom...

I don't have approach anxiety so much but my conversations are kind of boring, and I heard you should 'spike' it up with something to get the girl reengaged when she starts to become more disinterested but I don't know what exactly and it's annoying the shit out of me. e.g. I could shout 'penis' out loud and maybe that would make things more interesting but right now I haven't got a clue how to overcome this recurring issue.
