Damn bro, remember rejection is better than regret.

I approached a girl at my school earlier this year.

I saw her sitting in the library by herself and I never talked to her ever before.

I said fuck it and started to walk towards her. But then the nervousness got to me and I turned back. This happened another two times.

Then on the 4th time I just truly said fuck it and approached her and sat down next to her.

Was the outcome successful: Yes

I gained a valuable lesson from this. And it is that no matter what, you will always have that feeling of nervousness in you - those butterflies in your stomach. What you have to do is FEEL THE FEAR and DO IT ANYWAY. I had butterflies walking up to her but I just acknowledged it and physically forced my body to keep moving forward. Trust me, when your flight or fight response activates, just accept it and KEEP WALKING up to her. That’s the hardest part. Talking to the girl is actually the easier part.
