TRP looks at women in a way that’s very complex, systematic and calculated. We’re all just humans at the end of the day. I’ve been where you are right now. I saw girls as evil, fundamentally. All the red pill/pick up theory I had digested automatically made me a form of a negative opinion of girls whenever I’d see them. In addition, I’d overthink absolutely everything. They usually mess around and are silly immature teenagers. I’m considering just letting this one moment go and from now on, I set clear boundaries. I didn’t confront them …

Great information here. As much as I love your attention to all the techniques, the problem is that your manager doesn’t consciously think of them. It’s natural. It’s subconscious. That’s why he can’t tell you how to be like him. That’s the problem nowadays with all these videos and posts. Giving out bullshit techniques that only grant superficial temporary change. The real magic occurs only when you rewire your inner core beliefs, and take action in real life to sustain the desirable qualities …

Cheers man, actually sound advice. All about perspective. And yeah, not a daddy issues sub lol, maybe I should’ve just asked how to be more stoic and control my emotions more. I think the mentality we operate with, our attitude, really makes a big impact on our overall life, so if we are easily subject to being in negative frame, it just makes life shit, but it’s something that can be controlled in my opinion. Anyways, thanks man.

My opinion is that you should be as free as a bird. Being in a serious LTR while you’re still young is not worth it. Time should be spent working on yourself and building your own empire. What this also means is that since you won’t be dating “exclusively”, you can go and fuck as many bitches as you want. I don’t know why all the other overdosed redpillers are complaining about the dating scene being fucked, it won’t matter anyways. Why? Because you won’t be dating EXCLUSIVELY/SERIOUSLY. You let…

Use a TDEE Calculator online. It’s not 100% accurate but it gives a pretty good estimation to work with in the beginning. Then just track your weight after every week. Losing 1 pound a week = 3500 calorie deficit per week (or 500 per day). Adjust calories accordingly

When you show weakness to women, you become less attractive in their eyes. Does a women want a rock in the wind or a little bitch? Which one of the two can help protect and raise her kids better? With women you are tryna fuck, masculinity is what will get you there. You don’t whine to her, hope she listens and empathises with your struggles, this and that. But with friends that are girls (who you not tryna fuck), that’s okay. That’s what friends are for. It’s okay to be vulnerable with them.

Thank you. For someone sitting at 11-15% body fat, would losing more than 0.5kg/week contribute to increased muscle loss?
/r/askTRP01/08/20 01:39 PM

Generally (unless you are extremely overweight), shouldn’t you aim to only lose half a kg per week? Any more than that and you are not only losing fat but also losing muscle (?)
/r/askTRP01/08/20 01:13 PM

Seems very reasonable! I’ll continue through next week to see. I’m only scared about losing more muscle mass unnecessarily by losing weight too fast. Thanks

Anything extreme is short lived - that I fully agree with. My aim is to lose 0.5kg per week, but since this is my first week, and I’m losing more than that, I don’t know if it’s normal, and if it’s too soon to tell whether I should increase calories. There are only 2 things I focus on for my diet - eating at a caloric deficit and making sure I’m eating sufficient protein each day. I don’t put myself on extreme diets that taste plain and awful. I still have chips, sweets, ice cream etc. I weigh e…

I believe my maintenance calories vary from 2800-3000 using various TDEE calculators. Assuming my maintenance calories are 2800, I would need to eat at 2300 calories per day to lose ~0.5kg per week. However, I work out every day (at least 6x per week) for a minimum of one hour per day, sometimes 2 hours (resistance training + cardio), which means I can eat a few hundred calories more (eg. 2500 instead of 2300). This might explain why I’m losing more weight than normal. Though I’m not 100% certai…

My upper body is pretty lean, most of the fat goes to my legs. I don’t have any stretch marks on my midsection, I’m just concerned that I might get them, switching from a bulk to a cut (not sure if it’s possible unless you’re really fat in the first place but just wanted to make sure)

Was your friend ever extremely overweight? (also do you mean he had stretch marks on his abs)
/r/askTRP25/07/20 04:34 PM

From what I am aware of, you get stretch marks when your muscles grow faster than your skin can expand during that time. I suspect that this only occurs when you are on a caloric surplus i.e. bulking or trying to gain weight. But I’m not too sure for when you’re cutting/on a caloric deficit. Maybe it happens only to people who are severely overweight and have loose skin?

Stumbled upon TRP at 16. I’m 18 now. Thank you TRP. Literally changed my life. It feels amazing to see the truth for what it really is, rather than walking around like a headless chicken. The quality of my life and what it will be like, I give massive credit to TRP. It’s been a good ride here. I’ll miss it. Kudos.

Who the fuck cares. Do what you want man. TRP is only there to guide you, not to give you a definitive answer for everything you do in life. Some people may say that paying on the first date is “beta”. Fuck that overthinking, do what you like, if you feel like it then pay for it. If you expect her to reciprocate the next time, then communicate it to her - enforce your boundaries. That’s what’s important. No need to overthink man.

Bring out those demons. Examine them. Determine the root causes of those issues. Then make a conscious effort to ditch those old negative thought patterns with positive new ones - until those new ones automatically become your new subconscious. Your mind is more powerful than you think. Your thoughts determine your behaviours, and your behaviours dictate your entire life.

Bullshit. There is no such thing as irrational self-confidence. I used to try all sorts of techniques like this. Yes, you can put up a front, but it will only be temporary. Your true self always shines through. Your best self is your “natural” self. You want to have godly confidence that is natural/subconscious and not made through “conscious” thought. If you try to act irrationally self confident (consciously), but you’re a little bitch inside (those bad subconscious thought patterns), then you…

Social life is number one. I don’t give a fuck what TRP tells you. Having strong human relationships and a good social life is what truly makes you happy in life. It’s the experiences you have and the quality of your friendships. Everyone here loves to go the lone-wolf way, focus on game techniques and theories too much, and a lot of men here end up with a (destructive) women-hating mentality anyways. It’s a circus. You genuinely have to be easy-going, fun to hang with and very social. However, in order to achieve those characteristics, you have to work on any shyness or social anxiety you currently have. And at the root of those problems is self-consciousness and caring too much about what other people think. “Excessive carefulness leads to inhibition and anxiety”. The most charismatic people are the most care-free and least inhibited individuals.

Depends. If you want to go the pick-up way, which is ultimately needy and phony, then so it be physical looks. All you need to do is be good-looking and have some fake confidence (outer game) and boom. But if your life was miserable, it will continue to be, unless you address your inner confidence and be developed all-round (and yes personality is an important factor, personality is charisma, and charisma will take you a long way in all facets of your life).

The problem is that most people here try to learn how to attract and seduce women, without making sure they have a solid foundation in the first place (social skills). It’s ridiculous. This is why pick-up is damaging. To truly be an attractive man, you need to have true inner confidence, not be some phony who remembers some tricks and only has outer game. Social skills is the key. That needs to be rock solid first. After that, you work on your game.

Great reminder. I’ve always thought about and experimented with this. However, at the same time it does feel somewhat beta. Using a neutral tone can make it harder for them to talk to you …

Just look lean and fit. But yes you are right. I realized that being lean and having abs - with chicken arms - is pointless. Even if I was lean and had 6 pack abs, I wouldn’t look as good in a shirt due to underdeveloped arms and underdeveloped muscles in general. I’m trying to take this slowly, so I have a small caloric deficit - because I don’t want to risk losing muscle mass, rather maintain/gain muscle mass, whilst still losing body fat at the same time. I think this is called recomp

What can you do? You can’t change the past. You wanna shower her with expensive gifts and shit to earn back her validation/approval? When you already know that she knows what you’re doing is out of guilt, not based purely on your own initiative. Just apologise to her if she’s still bitching and complaining, don’t act needy and carry on as usual. Maybe take her out for dinner or something. And don’t be a dickhead next time. I feel like there are a lot of opportunities in college that you only have when you’re in college. And I really want to capitalize on them. E.g. much easier to build social status/social proof, hook up etc. But with that being said, thanks for bringing up long-term visions and goals. Never really thought about that and just thought about short-term goals, instant gratification etc. Gonna do everything I can to create the best life for me in 5 or 10 years time.

Great list of recommendations, thanks! What do you think of learning boxing? Compared to BJJ/MMA? Which one be better for me for street fights or against multiple attackers? Also, why yoga? I’ve seen a lot of people recommend it, and pardon me for my lack of knowledge, but I see it being kind of feminine (I usually just see women doing yoga and hardly men)

Theoretically speaking, what I described above would be true right? In all honesty. It is just an example and not a general/definitive outlook on the situation. If you just picked two individuals exactly like that and compared them. This is an example of where the truth in the black pill lies. Come on bro, you know the answer. Yes of course you should have talked to them. What are you waiting for? The perfect opportunity? The right moment? Choosing signals? Well you can wait, but you’ll be waiting until you die with that mindset. Instead, create opportunities yourself. Go after what you want. Take risks. Or else you’ll never ever get the things you want.

Push-pull. Tease the bitch. Every fucking guy literally filters himself and has a safe and boring conversation with the girl they like. That is pedestalizing 101. Never EVER be boring. Being boring is one of the biggest sins in game. You want to be interesting. Be different. The way you do that is by triggering her emotions. All types - anger, happiness, sadness, laughter. So remember. Push-pull. Tease. And hold frame. And don’t catch oneitis. BE PLAYFUL.

Younger women - cheeky, playful alpha Older women - stoic, strong alpha I’ll explain why. As you probably already know, women are emotion-driven creatures. They like to experience “emotional highs”. While both types of alphas can trigger these emotional highs, the playful/cheeky one can elicit these emotions to a more significant degree than the other. This specifically applies for younger women e.g in college. Because in college everyone wants to have fun. Everyone likes fun. Fun is contagious.…

At the crux, women are attracted to masculinity. The price of these courses will NEVER EVER be justified. Everything you need to know is out there - and for free. Once they see you with tons of other girls, they will chase you. What? This is getting a bit ridiculous. There are no rules set in stone. Stop overthinking. Just be playful, don’t be needy, use texting for logistics and to set up dates etc.

Any tips on finding that solid friend group? I know that just “being yourself” is so important. In other words, being “authentic”. I’m just about to finish high school. As I look back at the past few years, I’ve seen how fake I was. I just wasn’t being myself. You know how real friends always tease each other and shit? Like the point you made where you said you can call up your friend and say “hey bitch, blah blah” I didn’t have that connection with a lot of people. I wasn’t “polarizing”. I inhi…

Were you red-pilled back in college? If you weren’t, how do you think it may have gave you a better experience in terms of social circles, girls etc.?
/r/askTRP07/11/19 03:57 PM

What do you mean rush a fraternity? Like join one immediately? In regards to “cold approaching” on campus, do you mean cold approaching to meet new people and increase your social circle? Or cold approaching to get numbers etc? (like you would on the streets)
/r/askTRP07/11/19 03:54 PM
1

Isn’t cold approaching on campus a bad idea? As opposed to cold approaching on the streets where you will never see the girl again, in college you will quickly earn yourself a bad reputation as a creep. Alot of the PUA advice, even though good, is not applicable to college imo. I think it’s about meeting as many people as possible, maxing our your social value/status and the girls will come naturally.

I feel like it’s more nuanced compared to just cold approaching on the streets. Logistics etc. For example, if you cold approached on the streets, the interaction is only a few minutes and you won’t see each other again after. But in this situation, because it’s in the library, we will still both be there. And I have my friends with me. Wouldn’t that be awkward? This is what I mean when I say this situation is more nuanced/complicated.

So so true, when you hold back from expressing yourself and having fun, it’s usually because you care too much what they think. More specifically you’re walking on eggshells, trying not to do anything that might offend them or make them disapprove of you/your behaviours. Here’s my two cents. I don’t give a fuck what people say, Instagram can definitely help get you more girls/plates. Have a profile that looks good. If you’re ugly, sadly it will probably fuck your Instagram game (to an extent). Instagram is superficial as it is, and just mainly about looks. Ideally try to have photos and highlights of you doing cool shit, and very importantly show off your social status by photos with different people, girls etc. Never slide in the DMs out of nowhere. Yes, do you know how many girls are out there? More than you can imagine. Can you imagine a crowd of 100 people, what about 10000, 100000, 1 million. 100 million? And you’re telling me out of every girl in this world, she is the best? She’s only your oneitis because you haven’t talked to enough girls yet. Also never settle for less. Go for your standards or higher, not lower. If you’re talking to 4 girls right now, the other 3 clearly are not as good looking or attractive in general to you. So f…

Look for more girls, different girls that you find are at least as equally attractive as your current oneitis. And don’t tell me you can’t, because yes you can. There is no unicorn. You just have to expect that these things will happen using dating apps like Tinder. Getting catfished, getting flaked, getting your time wasted etc... expect them all. They can definitely work and help you get lays. The better looking you are more, the easier it will be. In the end, best to just go out in the real world instead of relying on dating apps. False. Girls are terrified of rejection (even more than guys). They are feminine and have fragile egos. Why would they want to risk their egos by potentially getting rejected? Also no, girls do not have an easier time talking to people. Everyone is different. One person may just be more extroverted/social than another.

Quick/random question. Did you break eye contact first or did she? Also, learn from this bro. You can’t change what already happened, no matter what. You can’t go back in time. No one can. Next time you see a cute girl or get IOIs or whatever it is, think about the regret you felt last time for not taking the opportunity. If you fear rejection, remember that - Rejection is always, ALWAYS better than regret.

Didn’t finish the book but read about half of it. Some good and practical advice here and there. Was curious to see how Olivia Fox talked and sounded like in real life. For me: smiling = nervousness. Now I’m not saying every time you smile you’re nervous. No absolutely not. But it is an indicator of nervousness. When there is tension, stress, anxiety then you tend to try to alleviate those factors by letting out a smile. Don’t get me wrong. Smiling is awesome, contagious and just a sign that you’re having a good time. However, it becomes a problem when smiling becomes an automatic subconscious reaction to alleviate signs of stress, tension etc... AKA nervous sm…

Best to ignore her stories imo. When she sees that you viewed her stories, like the other guy said she will feel like she’s in control of you still. Remember that people what want they can’t have. It’s just human nature. Assume that you don’t need her anymore (you’re ready to move on) and develop an abundance mindset. If you don’t you’ll keep thinking about her and perhaps drive yourself crazy.

I wish it was as easy as just opening my textbook and studying. Yet I feel so unmotivated, bored, stressed, distracted that I just put it off. You must embrace your masculinity. A few months ago, with a girl I was seeing I was tiptoeing around her being afraid to express my sexuality/desire. While I was at her house, I was standing behind her while she was cooking food for me and I wrapped my hands lightly around her waist. I didn’t want to seem “creepy” or all this shit. Simple. Just go up to him, introduce yourself and ask. You might feel nervous but don’t resist it. What you resist will persist. Don’t try to “not be awkward”. By doing this, you will instead become more awkward. Accept how you feel inside and embrace it. Feel the fear and just do it anyways. You won’t regret taking the chance. Yeah being my first sexual encounter, after I got the blowjob I probably became a bit over-excited. This then led me to being needy (and thus losing frame) in the sense of asking her for sex. Maybe next time I won’t ask her, but try to touch her more sexually and test my limits - keep on going until she starts to pull back or something. How long did it take you to overcome shyness purely through exposing yourself to uncomfortable situations?

What if it’s shyness? I feel like being shy and being introverted are not the same thing. I feel like I’m a shy extrovert.

Just wanted to make it clear. Since some people are absolute douchebags or they are very quiet, telling them to be yourself is not very meaningful or helpful But if you mean be yourself as in be authentic as possible and express who you truly are, then I understand

What else is it apart from you signal that “you value yourself less”? I feel like I have the idea but I can’t grasp it fully enough. After all, the reason we people please is because we think it will make others like us, but how does it really do the opposite? Is it due to dishonesty? Inauthenticity? I know women probably aren’t attracted to such guys because these guys act like pussies and not dominant leaders. I need to rewire my thinking. It seems really paradoxical, because there was a quote…

I feel like it affects a lot of things that I do. If I’m talking someone, due to my tendency to people please, I won’t act like myself and i won’t feel comfortable. This might lead to some awkward shit, but I want to be the real me. (my intent is not to become an asshole, just be authentic and have fun, and not act in a way that’s fake and awkward just so I don’t cause any conflict or unease) I want to always prioritise my first as which I feel a people pleaser does not do. I don’t want to be a …

What’s the OI mentality? How the fuck do you stop being self conscious and just stop caring what other people think? It’s so hard. I’ve been trying for ages. But it’s literally wired into all of our brains. We can say that we have the IDGAF mentality but deep down inside we do care.

Not necessarily but I'd prefer not to have this fear of looking at and exchanging eye contact with attractive girls on the train or in public etc.. I think it is just a fear of me getting caught looking at them and id rather avoid the awkwardness when we coincidentally look at each other (e.g. when I exchange eye contact with a cute girl on the train but then we're awkwardly stuck there until we arrive at our stops).

I definitely don't want to shower her with compliments because that is what nice guys would do and that is boring, needy and not the way (in my opinion) to go about hitting on girls. I don't want to be commenting on her posts because I barely know her. Her friends regularly comment on her post, and since she has relatively little followers, it would be weird for me (a complete stranger) to comment on her posts, without even having spoken to her as well. I'm most likely going to do what someone e…

Wouldn't hurt to shoot this girl a dm though. There are alot of decent/attractive girls at my school, but this one is exceptionally pretty. I mean what's there to lose. If I shoot my shot and it lands then awesome. If not, I can move on. Im still in high school anyways (turning 17 soon) so things aren't that serious.

Didn't mention it but I'm actually 16 (17 in a few months) haha. Figured now would still be an appropriate time to slide into girls dms. Found out she's a year below me in terms of schooling and actually lives nearby (or at least goes to a nearby school) from some of her posts.

Solid advice. Agreed. But never talked to nor saw this girl IRL. Just happened to discover her through a friend today, and the only means of communication possible with her is via instagram.

It starts from the very roots. You begin to understand why most men act the way they do now and why most women act the way they do today. It is mainly to do with the biological differences between a male and a female, and how we are massively affected by social conditioning. This book is not simply a straight forward how to seduce guide. It is much more than that. It addresses many of the underlying issues we have first and how we can better ourselves overall instead of just purely how we can be…

Just wrote a few paragraphs in response but decided to delete them as they sounded confusing. I figured it'd be best if you read the book as everything is explained very well. To summarize it as briefly as I can though, confidence as stated by the author himself, is 'the ability to appear certain by tolerating uncertainty'. You see, people can't read your mind or tell exactly what you are feeling or thinking on the inside. If you appear confident then you will be perceived as confident, because …

She's just extremely pretty. Real pretty. Lives in the same city, relatively nearby judging by the school she goes to from one of her posts. Never seen her nor talked to her and it is the same case for her. Want to dm her to see if I can make something happen. Never slid into a girls dms before with this kind of intention, so here I am seeking advice on how I can maximise my chances of success e.g. by avoiding doing stupid shit that others may have previously done so I don't do it myself. Even i…

I only know her because my friend mentioned her to me. I've never met her nor seen her in real life. Thus it seems the only way to get things started is to strike up a conversation online as that is the only means by which I can communicate with her. Might seem trivial, probably is, but I'm 16 and still in high school. High school is nothing serious and it is easier in general to get in touch with girls and build social circles. This girl is about my age but a year below in terms of schooling, a…

True, I have to acknowledge that there will always be people who won’t like me. I can’t change their minds and can’t force them to like me, so I have to accept it as it is. I guess that there is no one purpose in life for me. I have many goals that I wish to achieve. My primary goal is to have an amazing social life, be confident in everything and that will make life so much easier and more enjoyable. I will have to break my goals down into even smaller separate individual goals, and that way it…

Talking to people I’m not that close to. I’ll be able to talk to them but not express my true self, including jokes and shit, just saying whatever I want and being comfortable. I would filter myself i.e. I have thoughts but then I end up keeping them to myself. I just want to be able to treat everyone the same. Should it really be this way though. For example, in class I want to talk to everyone and be myself. If I be myself and people don’t like me then I shouldn’t be friends with them? I’ve noticed how important posture is. I used to walk with a crooked/slouched back (leaning forward) but now I walk straight, slow and relaxed and it makes me feel more confident. I also started to lift on a more consistent basis a few months back and loved how my arms have progressed so far, but I’ve still got a long way to go. In terms of my high school life, I moved to a new school this year, where I will spend my last two years of high school. First year is gone and next year will be my last…

Who am I afraid of judging me? I guess it really depends. Some people I am comfortable with and others not so much. I think I put certain people on a pedestal and when I do that i am not acting myself, and the conversation and vibe can feel awkward. If I had to specify who, I’d say that girls who are attractive, people who have a high social status, people who are more confident than me are put on a pedestal and I’m not totally myself around them because I fear negative judgement. What am I afra…

Wow that’s great to hear man. Did you have a girlfriend at the time of being 17? Was high school any good? I am in your position right now and next year will be my last year of high school. I regret not doing much in these past years and really want to make my last year of high school one of the best and memorable years ever. Would you have any advice for me? Maybe if you had to give advice to your younger self while still in high school.

Thanks for helping me really realise what probably is the actual core issue. I believe that I am much better compared to last year in terms of my shyness after discovering TRP, but it just comes back to fuck me over and it’s because I still care (mainly subconsciously) what others think. Now that i think about it, I have this inner desire to express myself and not give a fuck but subconsciously I’m afraid of making myself look awkward or make the situation awkward because I did something stupid.…

Ahh So true. I remember how outgoing, social and extroverted I was as a kid. I was truly myself. Still remember the good days. Even remembered some shit I said and did that I wouldn’t say and do now. Then when high school hit, it was all downhill from there. Strangely I notice how almost all little kids aren’t scared to do stupid shit in public. Toddlers would just stare at me on the train, mumble some words and point their fingers at others. Some kids would dance in public in the shopping centr…

Now that i think about it - my fear is that people will judge me and negatively criticise me. I avoid doing things that potentially cause me to be judged. It prevents me from truly being myself and doing the shit that I truly want to do. Honestly looks don’t matter as much as you may think. With regards to passing shit tests, remember how you say it is more important then what you say. If you act confident as fuck, you will come off as being confident as fuck. Being confident is the key to everything. Girls would rather go for a not so good looking man but who is extremely confident rather than one who is good looking but lacks confidence.
