We know good looks and money get you in the door, but if you have a shit personality then you’re not going to go very far.

With that being said, i am constantly experimenting with my personality to see which is the best.

High energy OR low energy?

Having a cool laid back demeanour, being unreactive and grounded OR just having fun, being goofy and truly expressing yourself?

My real personality gravitates more towards the latter (which is more “high energy”). I am goofy, say stupid shit because i find it funny but am not downright autistic with it (and we know emotions are contagious so what you feel, the other person will most likely feel as well). However, I was reading the Alpha Male Strategies Dating Book and he said it’s better to have a cool laid back demeanour and not be goofy (which is more “low energy”).

If I choose to adopt more of that personality then I feel like I’m kind of holding myself back, not being my true self and it’s less fun. Thoughts?

What’s the ideal sort of personality? Because I feel it’s better to be an extrovert and express yourself, rather than be laid back, introverted which seems more boring but at the same time is more masculine. Should I be high energy (goofy) with friends but low energy (grounded, laid back) with girls I like?
