I've done this with countless girls, I got several to the point where all I had to do was pick them up and take them home to have sex. Without even meeting them for coffee or anything. In my experience start off being completely non-threatening, friendly, slightly funny without overdoing it or trying too hard. Be nonchalant in the beginning and escalate from there. Once they feel like you're not creepy and not boring they'll do a lot of the work for you. It is insanely easy in my experience, I've made more girls feel comfortable strictly through texting than I can even remember.

This is an interesting topic, because there are a lot of dating apps out there now. I've recently been using Tinder. It's an app that connects to your Facebook (but doesn't post anything to Facebook) to find people who are close to your relative location. A match is made when both parties like each other and you can start a conversation via messaging. Sorry just some background. Tinder is a good way to develop those skills! I've tried various openers, various questions, various topics. What I've realized is be tamefully weird, at the start! When I say tamefully weird, I'm pretty much saying don't be your typical boring guy. Be dramatic and playful with responses and questions. Say things you know won't happen but it'll throw the other off and catch them off guard. This breaks down the barrier and makes the other person realize they are talking to a fun but real person. If I wernt using tinder I wouldn't even try because it's a difficult task. I use messaging for communicating ideas (dates, random thoughts, reflecting). I think building comfort over messaging would only apply to tinder or Facebook messaging. Not real life. TLDR: Don't use messages to build comfort. If you have to, (tinder), be dramatic and playful.
