I do that. Most chicks resist it. They almost immediately point it out. However, I will add that I haven't done this in a seduction context so I don't know if it is helpful for you.

Dude is too male specific.

I recall Mystery recommended indirect openers on 2+ sets of women starting with "hey guys" which is more gender-neutral and does not express interest in them as women.

I say dude/bro all the time to women. Recently I got a "you're brozoning me and I'm not okay with it," which I found kind of humorous, but I guess it takes away any ideas they have of possibly being the one to start a "pure friendship"
