Got out yesterday with a friend of mine. He is a good guy but has zero self-esteem (he was a virgin until a week ago, when he f-ed a prostitute ehehe), zero taste in clothing and generally looks horrible (talking about haircut, unkempt beard, etc). He is also against the idea of going out to get women - I had to kind of beg him to go out with me because I don't solo and my usual team is unavailable - and, if I fail opening a set or get rejected, he mocks me, even though he is not capable of doing anything and he knows I'm not bad at all, which is extremely annoying.

Yesterday I only opened a couple of sets but didn't go anywhere. Moreover, I usually lock eye-contact with 4-5 girls per night (Fridays and Saturdays) when I go out with my best wingman and other, less repulsive - ahahah sorry bro - friends, but yesterday only 1-2. I am generally way more comfortable opening visibly interested girls and, let's say, 50-60% of my k-closes are born out of these "eye-contact locks", as I call them - think of an air-to-air missile that locks on to an enemy fighter jet.

Was it just a bad day? Was it me? Should I be more aggressive and open sets regardless of girls being visibly interested? Or was my "wingman" actually a drag because of "social proof" concerns?
