Long post, please bear with me. Know a hot girl, we met at the end of our sophomore year at uni. We're both juniors now, we went on a couple of dates and things kind of fizzled. It was mostly my fault, didn't initiate and wasn't good at creating tension, etc. But I think part of my problem was that I just wasn't attentive enough. I had kind of a shitty time, had some serious personal problems and got sick, couldn't hang out, told her I was busy a few times. She seemed interested the last time we saw each other, and then I texted her a couple of times to chill at the end of the weekend (wasn't exactly making myself scarce) and she kept on telling me she was busy (and she actually was some of the time). The last time I texted her to confirm some dinner plans, she backed out, and I, like a dumbass, got a bit irritated and asked her what the fuck was going on. She said she wasn't ready for a relationship, I said whatever, that's fine. Saw her next at a party, she seemed mad at me and evasive. A few weeks later, we ran into each other again, she texted me again after out of the blue, we talked a bit, and we've hung out platonically a few times since (in large groups). Kind of want to rekindle things but not sure if its possible. We never had sex, just kissed, and I don't want to seem needy, but also don't want to let this pass completely. I've been seeing other girls since and don't feel the same attraction. Get the whole oneitis shtick, but looking for real solutions. Thanks seddit ;)
