My vision and you are free to share it or not, this entire “number close/kiss close/lay close” is counterproductive and it might be the cause of the “denial”. We have to keep in mind that it is human we deal with. There is no “one size fit all” formula in this, and we should focus on connecting and understanding the other. Many aspects of NLP, of rapport building and on seduction are badly understood and aimed at the wrong end. Like Pacing and leading, for example, is not to make someone else “follow you” but, quite the opposite, to make you UNDERSTAND THEM in order to offer the right action, giving THEM what THEY need. It’s about how we can both win something out of it. Win-win situation could go any directions. Like understanding it’s not the right time for a kiss because she is with friends and will feel judge would be a win for her because you’d be considerate enough to understand her needs and make her feel “decent“ in front of her social circle and would most likely result in a rise in her desire to you, hence making you win in the long run or, win-win could also mean understanding she has no interest and that you should invest your time in a more “productive” manner.
That being said, you SHOULD txt/call her BUT don’t excuse yourself, don’t talk about how she wouldn’t kiss you, don’t act like a needy boy who wants her at all cost. You could go back to something you did in the night that was fun and propose a date. Don’t go fishing for answer, for discussion or anything else. The means of communication are meant to deal with logistics, not to built rapport.
One last advise, don’t take all of this (seduction and shit) too seriously. It’s meant to have fun, explore living, meet people, learn to know them (and see if they fit your scale of values).
Such a nice and comprehensive answer. Thanks for the feedback. It sounds quite logical and I can totally see it now. Texted her "Hey, how are you? Emoji with sunglasses (gotta love that one). She has "seen" it but no reply so I guess I'll just skip it.

At least you went for it! I need to just start 'going for it' more, I think! I saw a vid that slightly changed my mind about going for the kiss.
I always want to be 100% certain that I won't get rejected, and so don't often tend to try because she might not seem that comfortable with my kino, or isn't touching me back etc, but in the vid I saw, the girl really didn't seem into him, she rejected his kiss attempts like 3 times in the space of like 40 seconds, but on his 4th attempt (like 20 seconds later!) he got the kiss, and she was very much 'into it' and she wasn't pulling away at all.
I'm gonna start pouncing on girls more and risk rejection a lot more. Screw it!
Well done, I say! No big deal. Just don't make a big deal about the rejection. Also would have probably been more chance of not getting rejected id her friend wasn't standing there?! (at least it sounds like her friend was there)
You might be right about her friend. Thank you for the feedback.

Why not? If she's not interested, you'll know.
