I'm not good in clubs, and very new to this subreddit.

I have no problems going up to girls, sitting beside them and starting conversation whenever about whatever, but in the clubs/bars where we can't really talk, I fail. Most guys that I see are just going up behind girls and grinding with them. I can't really bring myself to do that for 2 reasons a) It seems to work much better with tall guys (I'm not self conscious about my height EXCEPT for in a club setting) b) It's creepy as shit

I've looked for eye contact, without much success (dark club, lights flashing everywhere - even if it happened it'd be hard to catch) and I don't really feel like if I did make eye contact, that the putting my hand out approach would really work.

This is a setting where 90% of the dancing is grinding, it's tough to move around on the dance floor, and it's loud as shit. Not really my scene, but at my college, it's what you do on weekends.

Any help would be appreciated, whether it be reading material or little tips.
