Look, at this point, the Mystery Method is kind of played out. The routines have been around long enough that girls actually know many of them and will shut you down hard for using them.

Also, regardless of what you want, the Mystery Method is not terribly great for your emotional and mental health. A lot of guys who fall into using it, post rather troubling posts, sometimes up to 5 years after adopting it...... invariably such posts fall under the categories of:

Having lost their identity: they don't know who they are anymore.
Hating women. Hating people. Self-hatred. General distrust of people and women, in particular.
Feeling like dating never lasts. Feeling like they're always pretending when they try to "pick up" on girls.

So to be honest, it doesn't really work, not in a sustainable way. It's not bad for picking up on girls in a way that leads to really disposable affairs, the problem is that you kind of sell your soul for this and often fall into dating patterns that lead to loneliness or unhealthy, dysfunctional relationships that blow up in your face.

Look at what it's done for guys like Mystery himself. The guy has picked up on girls and created relationships that imploded because of the way he views himself and the women he's with. He's not really the guy to emulate.

Other guys in his coterie, like Neil Strauss, have only apparently salvaged their lives by ditching these kind of mindsets and tactics.

EDIT: You're better off following someone like David Wygant, James Marshall, Sasha Daygame, or Nick Sparks.
